WE HAVE THE STRENGTH |
At Jantar Mantar, We today demosnstrated our strength in Unity and Failed all those who say every Kashmiri Pandit is a Leader unto himself and do not assemble under one banner and in one ground. The return of Kashmiri Pandit to the Valley till now remains a complex issue, not because, we allegedly do not have leadership, but due to the fact that the powers that be either in the state or at the centre have willfully twisted it as per their political convenience. In common the Kashmire Pandit has become a whipping passion for the separatists or the political forces. We are continuously getting punished for our intellectual possession and national/ patriotic integrity. Much evidence in this regard is available in " Atish-E-Chinar" of Shiekh Mohd. Abdullah or the narratives by his son, Dr. Farooq Abdullah, available in many books. One of those is the "Return of the Prodigal Son".One cannot forget the true facts revealed in" My Frozen Turbulence in Kashmir" by Shri Jagmohanji. The Govenments and Leadership at New Delhi from 1947 till date never possessed the will to patronise Hindus in the Valley but instead kept on signing the " Accords and Declarations" and even the Sadbhavna Yatras to Pakistan, to make history but not help to maintan the history of Integrity vis-a-vis Hindus in the Valley. Even the Present CM- Mufti Mohd. Sayeed, on the very first day at office did not hesitate in praising Pakistan and Separatist Groups for allowing smooth elections in the Valley. Thus contemptuously defeating and violating the Sacrifices of the Armed and Para-Military Forces. He even did not realise and recognise the will of the local people who participated in large numbers to cast their vote, saying no to the terrorist mindset and divisive politics. Thus insulting them too. The present government has thus yet gain helped to provide buffer to Pakistan and its agents in the Valley that ultimately adversely affects the return of Kashmiri Pandits to the Valley for no fault of theirs. The Present Government has to realise that the return of Kashmiri Pandits would instead be based on cementing of the age old relations that are deeper than any single individual spearheading the Hate Campaign to promote distrust which the Goevenment has to resist strongly. When the state/central Govenment in all seriousness realises and understands the suffering/pain of willful death and the impact of forced mass exodus of Kashmiri Pandits from the Valley, then alone wisdom in all seriousness will dawn on them to facilitate their safe and smooth return. Let's not forget that our call has to be much stronger in unison as we demonstrated at Jantar Mantar today. Kudos to the organisers and Salutes to the young and old who made it there, despite heat and long distances in the Capital. I wish to reproduce the following lines of Dr APJ Abdul Kalam (Former President of India) "DO NOT TAKE REST AFTER YOUR FIRST VICTORY BECAUSE IF YOU FAIL IN SECOND, MORE LIPS ARE WAITING TO SAY THAT YOUR FIRST VICTORY WAS JUST LUCK" |
