Two day Free Special Orthopedic Camp

wo day special orthopedic camp got concluded in the Shirya Bhatt Mission Hospital Durgangar Jammu. Eminent Orthopedic surgeon, Dr.Sanjay Sarup M.S, MCH, FRCS (UK) from Delhi examined 150 patients from underprivileged sections of the society. The patients were from Jammu province including from far flung areas of Doda, Rajori, Billawar and Poonch. Special arrangements were made for carrying the patients of serious nature from migrant camps of Jammu. The patients were suffering from cerebral palsy, congenital problems like club foot, hip dislocation and spinal problems by birth or by trauma. The patients were provided free medicines for one month. Many patients were offered advices like surgery, appliances, artificial limbs and other advanced orthopedic measures. These will be provided to some of them in the reputed medical centers at Delhi free of cost by Deepda Healthcare Trust.

Dr.Sarup who is also the trustee of the Deepda Healthcare Trust New Delhi informed that in future the trust will organize the camps for unprivileged children in Doda, Rajori, Poonch and Udhampur with the help of social workers of Shirya Bhatt Mission Hospital. Patients from unprivileged sections of society (both children as well as adults) who need artificial limbs for congenital or post traumatic amputations shall approach any time to Shirya Bhatt Mission Hospital Jammu.

The camp was organized under the supervision of Sh.R.K.Pandita & Sh.Vir Ji Bhat functionaries of the hospital.
