This dream in my eyes, I carried so far, As the blanket of sky sprinkled with stars. With a vision so tensile, And passing every mile, This dream has grown with years, Too much to compile The eternity this feeling holds could not alone relay, But no words seem apt to surface it any day. And now that I recall, Come a year, come all, A conviction has survived, To wait for that final call The other day a drop of rain, when it landed on my palm, It said welcome love, just feel the charm. Two hearts squeeze to single, Solo voice to jingle, Worries rattled away, A covalent bond to twinkle I groom it every night, to assure its presence, Matured with utter care, to strengthen my credence. Grass sprinkled in dew, The wind when it blew, A walk to remember, Down the woods me and you Fate of verbal cast, just whispering in the ears, Words I waited for, all these years To silence we drop the words, The feelings come afar, In eyes we search for assurance, A selfless bond without a scar When eyes don’t wink and the two souls link, It’s a feeling of togetherness, with hearts and minds in sync. Legs refusing to walk away, Hands in hands, they mould like clay, Day it connects, without a delay, My life in your hands, I would lay The person you be, I would admire every groove, Just expect your presence when I am making any move. There would be sealed lips, But thoughts would click, Mere smile full of love, Would make the heartbeat skip This love would grow ageless, would verve with time, Till my soul gets poured into yours and your gets poured in mine… |
