|
rof. Bhim Singh, Chairman, JKNPP and Member, NIC today demanded immediate resignation of Mr. Umar Abdullah, the Chief Minister of J&K for the reason that the coalition NC-Congress government in J&K has failed to protect the National Flag in the state and has been surrendering before the anti-national and terrorist elements. This is, he quoted, this is obvious from the fact that on the Chief Minister surrendered to the dictate of the terrorists not to hoist national flag in Lal Chowk for seeking the support of the militants to not to disturb Chief Minister’s function at Bakshi Stadium on 26th January this year, the Republic Day of India. Prof. Bhim Singh said that this hidden packed with the terrorists the State government has lost its moral and constitutional right to govern the state. The Panthers Chairman said that a small news that national flag was not hoisted in Srinagar was flashed on priority by all the print and electronic media with the full blessings of the Home Ministry. The Panthers Party questioned the Home Minister that if Supreme Court final order on pre-paid mobile writ petition by the Panthers Party could be diluted under the instructions of the Home Ministry, how it is possible that an insignificant news of a local agency would be allowed to be blown out of proportion. This was done intentionally to damage the national interest and demoralize those dealing with the internal security of the state. Prof. Bhim Singh said that Umar government has failed miserably at all fronts. Shopian incident is living example how the state government failed to trace out the culprits. Prof. Bhim Singh urged Mrs. Sonia Gandhi and Dr. Manmohan Singh to rethink their coalition union with National Conference which has been responsible for the birth and rise of militancy in J&K. He said National Conference is not only mother of terrorism in the state but also father of corruption and this integration of the state. Sudesh Dogra Jammu and Kashmir National Panthers Party |
