Two Books, VCDs of Santosh Nadan released Jammu (India) April 25, 2010 |

Mahimnastotram (Mahimnapar) by Pushpdant and Guru Geeta of Bhagwan Gopi Nath Ashram, translated in Kashmiri poetic verses by Santosh Shah 'Nadan'- a renowned writer, poet, translator, critic and singer was released at a simple function here on Sunday. The stupendous job of translating the Mahimnastotram into Kashmiri verses was highly praised by the literary personalities and scholars present on the occasion. The detailed papers on the books were read by well known literary critics and commentators including Swami Pran Nath Gareeb, Prof. O.N. Chrungoo and Piyari Lal Hatash. The VCD of Mahimnapar of one hours duration sung by Santosh Shah Nadan in her own typical melodious voice both in Sanskrit and Kashmiri languages were also released. The audience present on the occasion admired the melody of Nadan and skill of Music Director- Kuldeep Saproo. The programme was composed by Piyari Hatash, a renowned writer and poet of the valley. The function was closed with the blessings of Swami Chaman Lal Bamzai of Nandbab Ashram who was the Chief Guest of Honour. |
