 Mrs Shanti Daftari was originally from Sathoo, Srinagar, Kashmir, and is now resident of Faridabad, Haryana, India. She holds a Masters degree in Hindi from the University of Kashmir and worked as the Principal in various J&K Govt girls schools until her retirement several years ago. Her articles in Hindi, Kashmiri and Urdu have been published in various magazines over the years. Recently, a collection of her short stories and poems was compiled and published under the title सोऩज़ल (Soanzal- “Potpourri”). |
