Minister for Medical Education, Technical Education and Youth Service and Sports, Mr. R.S. Chib, today said that Kashmiri migrants have exhibited great courage and patience even in most troubled times of the state and contributed tremendously in maintaining peace and tranquillity during over last two decades.
The Minister was addressing a religious function at Muthi Camp Base, organised by Swami Kumar Ji Geeta Satsang Ashram in connection with Yagnopavit Sanskar. Lauding the migrant’s role in maintaining peace in the State which was a stupendous task for people who have to leave their homes and hearths just due to the nefarious designs of inhumane elements, he said that Central Government has announced Prime Minister’s Package for rehabilitation of KPs and a Sher-e-Kashmir Special Employment package for the children of migrants. Earlier, the Minister attended the ‘Paath’ of Swami Kumar Ji on the occasion. Swami Ji in his address said “Faith is the foundation of all virtues” and advised the children, for whom ‘Yagnopavit’ was held, to be obedient to their parents and teachers which is necessary to lead a prosperous and peaceful life. |
