anun Kashmir (PK) and United States based Kashmiri Hindu Foundation (KHF) has urged the government constituted Apex Committee for rehabilitation of displaced KPs from valley to resign. The forum has further reiteriated its demand for seperate homeland in Kashmir valley, saying it is the only way to resettle the Kahsmiri Hindus in their homeland. The Federation, representing Kashmiri Hindus living overseas has said that the committee consists of people having connection with National Conference, Congress and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and have failed to raise the important issues facing the community. Addressing a press conference international coordinator of the forum Deepak Ganju along with Panun Kashmir senior member Agnishekhar also opposed the recent job package saying that package should be implemented without putting any conditions. “Panun Kashmir and KHF once again appeal all the Pandit members of the Apex Committee to understand the gravity of the situation and not to be a party to sell out camouflaged in the present form of the employment package”, said Deepak Ganju. |

Shadow Correspondent JAMMU, MARCH 04: Panun Kashmir (PK) and United States based Kashmiri Hindu Foundation (KHF) once again appealed all the Kashmiri Pandit members of the Apex Committee to understand the gravity of the situation and resign en-masse from the committee in order to save the community from 'sell-out' camouflaged in the present form of the employment package by the government. Convener Panun Kashmir, Dr.Agnishekhar and International Co-ordinator, Kashmir Hindu Foundation U.S.A, Deepak Ganju said while addressing a joint press conference here on Thursday that they noted with concern the state government design to virtually convert this package into an instrument of blackmail and exploitation by linking it to the return of KPs to Kashmir and also by extending the package to the so called political migrants and other non deserving people of the valley. They said that it was a conspiracy of the state govt. to entrap the young KP girls and boys under the irretrievable conditions, they said and added that unconstitutional draconian terms tagged has to be exposed and any silence or connivance on part of the KP members of the Apex Committee shall be treacherous and playing second fiddle to the Govt. which the community shall fight tooth and nail. PK and Kashmiri Hindu Forum (KHF), views the composition of the Apex Committee, mostly comprising of National Conference, Congress and PDP affiliated nominees as forum to endorse the mutilation of the package and trivializing the whole issue of exodus and genocide of KPs. Panun Kashmir urges the central and state govts. that the PM's employment package of entire six thousand jobs should be exclusively given to displaced unemployed KP youths without any discriminatory rules and conditions, and immediately come out with genuine age relaxation decision and provide succor to over aged unemployed youths. International co-ordinator Kashmir Hindhu Foundation- KHF Deepak Ganjuo pledged full support to the cause of KP's in increasing awareness with US law makers towards the need for a separate homeland for KP's in Kashmir valley. He said that as part of this campaign, a KP delegation under the leadership of Jeevan Zutshi,chairman International Kashmir Forum recently met State department officials, senators and other opinion makers in Washington DC,and will further continue its efforts in that direction. Deepak Ganju apprised media that KHF will build a mega Kashmiri Hindu Cultural Centre in California which will provide home to the expression to art and culture that showcases the richness of Kashmiri Hindu Heritage. It will be first such cultural centre outside India and will house the largest library with potentially rich books and manuscripts and shall house of literature in exile produced during these decades of exodus. Author of ‘Koshur Saal’ Chandaramukhi Ganjoo was also present druing the press conference. |

JAMMU, Mar 4: Reiterating its appeal to the Apex Committee members to resign enmass for the greater interests of the displaced Pandits, Panun Kashmir urged them to understand the gravity of situation and not to be a party to ‘sell- out’ camouflaged in the present form of employment package. The Apex Committee members should see through the sinister designs of the State Government and as a protest resign en-mass from the Committee, PK convenor, Dr Agnishekhar and International co-ordinator Kashmir Hindu Foundation (KHF), USA, Deepak Ganjoo, told reporters here today. They said PK and KHF notes with concern the State Government’s design to virtually convert this package into an instrument of blackmail and exploitation by linking it to the return of KPs to Kashmir and also by extending the package to the so-called political migrants and other non deserving people of the Valley. The conspiracy of the State Government to trap the young KP boys and girls under their irretrievable conditions imposed and unconstitutional draconian terms tagged have to be exposed and any silence or connivance on the part of KP members of the Apex Committee will be treacherous and this way they will be playing second fiddle to Government which the community will fight tooth and nail.
