Cultural Bonanza Celebrated at Gandhi Memorial College Of Education Jammu (India) May 10, 2011 |

Cultural Bonanza was celebrated in the premises of Gandhi memorial College of Education, Raipur Bantalab,Jammu (A Unit Of Hindu Education Society Kashmir Regd.) . Speaking on the occasion The chief Guest Shri Anil Dhar President (HESK) emphasized upon inculcating the element of values, among pupil teachers and students as a contribution for developing better society and laid stress on teachers to take a pledge for eradication of corruption and illiteracy and other social evils to improve the status of this institution by providing quality education . He also Lauded the efforts of the Staff of GMCEJ for making GMCEJ one of the best Teachers training institutes of the State . The function started with the lighting of the Lamp by members of HESK - followed by Saraswati Vandana and a Cultural Bonanza by the students of GMCEJ. Students actively participated in Various competitions like Rangoli making, bangle in the bucket, Candle lighting, spoon race, and the musical chair. Various cultural items were also presented by the students of GMCEJ these included bhajan singing, Bengali song, dandiya dance, Speeches, Skit performence and Scintillating items like Gharwali song along with Kashmiri Rouf were also performed. Principal Prof Kusum Tiku welcomed the august gathering and read out the annual report also highlighted the various achievements in the field of curricular and co-curricular activities besides the academics. The chief Guest Shri Anil Dhar along with Members of (HESK) Mr M.K Bangroo,Dr. G.K.Muju,Mr Aswani Kumar and Mr Sanjay Dhar .distributed prizes among the best performing students in academics, cultural and sports activities. Prof Rajinder Thusoo presented the vote of thanks .. |
