Report & images by Raman Raina A Outrightly rejecting the contention of those in the Governments of Inida and United States of America that concessions to separatism in Jammu and Kashmir will help in dousing the fire of Jihad in State, Pakistan and Afghanistan, Dr. Ajay Chrangoo, a veteran KP leader and Professor Hari, former Spokesperson of BJP and prominent Historian today said that any such move would end up in flaring up the terrorism in entire region, particularly in state which would jeopardize the survival of Hindus, Sikhs and Buddhists as well as those Muslims with a liberal opinion. Addressing a joint press conference here on Friday, Dr. Chrangoo and Prof. Hari Om wondered that which international pressure was prompting India to appease Pakistan and engage in a dialogue with separatists undermining almost every aspect of National security in the state and the country on the whole. They said that the policy of government of India of having a vague and almost dissolved threshold of tolerance has nourished the cauldron of genocide for Hindus and other minorities in Jammu and Kashmir. They expressed the hope that Government of India shuns its ambivalence and recognizes the fact that international Jihad in this region and the so called indigenous terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir are also essentially the same in terms and implications. They further said that they have no doubt that those political quarters in the state advocating concessions in Jammu and Kashmir to separatists and Pakistan were acting as over ground workers of armed separatism in the state. They said that they had not given mandate to any one in New Delhi to decide their future outside the framework of Indian constitution. However, they however expressed their satisfaction over the statements of the Home Minister of India expressing resolve of Nation to strike back in case of one of 26/11 type terrorist attack reoccurred. |
