Report & images by Raman Raina Bhartia Rashtriya Samanta Party(BSRP) while joining hands with Panun Kashmir, has said that the Homeland demand was a true nationalistic aspiration which alone could bring relief to the displaced community members. In a joint press conference addressed by National President BSRP, Col. T.P. Tyagi and President Panun Kashmir Dr. Agnishekher, the former said that his party would take the Homeland agenda to the masses through out the country and create public awareness about the injustice meted out to the nationalist displaced Pandits of Kashmir. terming the homeland demand of Panun Kashmir a true nationalistic aspiration, he stated that his party has included this demand in its main agenda. Panun Kashmir leader Dr. Agnishekhar termed adoption of homeland demand by BRSP and the visit of Col. Tyagi to Jammu historically equally significant as the presence of Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister and Home Minister in the recent Homeland Day programme. Referring to recent political developments, Tyagi said the silent diplomacy of the central government had created a real threat to the sovereignty and integrity of our nation. He alleged that Union government had already succumbed to the extraneous pressure and was preparing a major compromise on Kashmir. Dr. Agnishekhar later gave details about Panun Kashmir's efforts of bringing together the like minded forces of Ladakh and Jammu for fighting the divisive forces in the state. Later on Panun Kashmir organized a seminar at Jammu Club, to deliberate upon "Response to emerging political scenario in J&k State" where in Col. T.P Tyagi was felicitated. He was the Chief guest of the function and others present on the occasion included Dr. Jatidra Singh , Dr.Sonam Dawa Lonpo, Advocate B.S.Salathia , Dr. K.K.Pangotra, Dr. M.K.Raina and Dr. Agnishekhar . Referring to the so called employment package , Dr. Agnishekhar said that from 15000 promised jobs, only 3000 were announced and as many as 800 jobs from the abysmally low number have further been sliced, adding that the conditions tagged with the package were far from normal and draconian in nature with an intrinsic aim to discourage and frighten the languishing unemployed youths of the community from positively responding to the package. Dr. Sonam Dawa Lonpo, a senior Ladakhi leader and working President of Ladakh Union Territory Front (LUTF), appreciated the initiative of Panun Kashmir in facilitating a joint platform of the people of Ladakh, Jammu and Kashmiri Pandits, the victims of the hegemonic Kashmiri centric leadership, to forge a solid joint resistance to fight forces practicing secessionism . While justifying the claim of Union territory for Ladakh, he appealed people of Jammu and Kashmiri Pandits to support Ladakhies' just demand for Union Territory status and assured reciprocal support and cooperation from LUTF. Dr. Jatindra Singh, a well known physician, thinker and a political analyst lambasted the moves of the State and Central Govts; for eulogizing the secessionists and anti Indian elements and relegating to the background, the genuine interests of the people of Jammu, Ladakh, Kashmiri Pandits and other Nationalist forces and minorities. Dr. K.K.Pangotra's main thrust was on the continuous neglect of the non Muslim minorities and usurpation of the rights and interests of the Jammuiets, Ladakhies, Kashmiri Pandits , refugees of 1947 of POK and West Pakistan . Advocate B.S.Salathia , Ex- President Bar Association , Jammu welcomed the formation of a joint front of the people of Jammu, Ladakh, Kashmiri Pandits and other Nationalist forces to resist the moves like Justice Sageer Ahmed's recommendations and other anti Indian, anti Jammu, anti Ladakh and anti Kashmiri Pandits and other minorities policies and designs |
