ASKPC torches effigies of State/ Central Govt Jammu (India) September 4, 2009 |

ll State Kashmiri Pandit Conference launched its agitation with demonstration by burning effigies of State and Central Governments for its dual policy role for displaced KP community here today. Addressing the agitators, H.L. Chatta, General Secretary of the organization declared full support of the organization to the demands of KP youths which include 15,000 jobs for un-employed educated youths with the age relaxation of 7 years. Enhancement of monthly relief up to Rs. 10,000 per month. He further said that ASKPC will fully support to the present agitation of youths till its logic settlement is reached. Speaking on the occasion, R.K. Raina, Sr. Vice president of the Organization said that the community feels State and Central Govts are neglecting the genuine demands of the youths. He also demanded separate homeland for the community to be carved out in the Kashmir Valley with free flow of Indian Constitution. Kundan Kashmiri, General Secretary, Delhi Unit ASKPC demanded constitution on in exile and declaration of the sale of immoveable properties of migrants KPs as cancelled. Rakesh Tickoo demanded issuance of ordinance on KP temples/ shrines Bill and 10,000 two- room sets for non-camp migrants. M.M. Kaul demanded house rent allowance in favour of migrant Govt. Employees. Others who also spoke in the function include Bharat Bhushan Bhatt, Surinder Jawala Ali, A. K. Dhar, M.L. Mujoo, Sanjay Dulloo, K.L. Pandita and others. |
